Hi,

So I was numbering my figures and came across an error. If I add a figure in the middle of my text and I give it a number then I must change all the figure numbers in the texy (so not the ones under the figure itself) manually. Is there some way to make a dynamic link or something like that between my figure number and a number (or this case #) in my text? See my image for more information.

Thanks in advance!
(note: if something is unclear, mention it please and I will try to clearify it up)

Have the caption numbers been created with Word's built-in Caption facility? In that case, to force an update of all sequence (SEQ) fields, you can switch to print preview (File > Print) and then return to Print Layout view.
