Win 10 to Win 11 update blue screen
Hello all,
I am trying to update my Win 10 to Win 11 via "Windows11InstallationAssistant".
It goes successfully trough all three steps, but when PC restarts and gets to % count (black screen with % progress) - it always crash to the blue screen.
Sometimes on 30 %, sometimes on 60 % - so not a specific point.
I tried everything that I found as an average user on the internet (drivers, etc.) but nothing helped.
The error code is: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDELED
From my research, it is something with drivers, but I have no idea which one. There is no additional code info or anything.
Honestly, I have no idea what to do.
Thank you.

2022-08-23T14:41:29.407+00:00 Hello,
Indeed the error MemTest86 (BSOD 0x1E) it is related to a corruption in memory allocation during the operation. For this you should look into the next:
- BIOS Firmware update from the motherboard's manufacturer website
- Chipset drivers update from the motherboard's manufacturer website
- If you have any custom BIOS settings related to RAM clock, voltage, or latency times please save your BIOS profile settings and load a "default" profile that usually comes presaved in the BIOS by the manufacturer
From system perspective you may attempt the next:
- Run an image repair (recommended to run using a downloaded image, mounted) https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/repair-a-windows-image?view=windows-11
- Cleanup the WinSxS folder: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/clean-up-the-winsxs-folder?view=windows-11
- Run a clean boot: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows-da2f9573-6eec-00ad-2f8a-a97a1807f3dd
Another option, would be that there is a defect on the RAM memory hardware, for which you can use some RAM testing free apps, such as MemTest86 (running a 4 pass test) in order to check the integrity of the modules.
