Keyboard and mouse issues

Before the latest update for Windows, my mouse and keyboard both worked normally. But after the update, the keyboard keystrokes are completely different and aren't anywhere near what I am attempting to do. As far as the mouse is concerned, the pointer is fine as is the clicker (With some minor trouble) however, with the keyboard acting up, the mouse wheel acts as though I am zooming in and out of things?

Is anyone else having that issue? I have attempted to change USB ports, restarting the computer at a different date, but the issues are still the same?

    Hello

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having issues related to Keyboard and mouse

    1. Update mouse and keyboard drivers in Windows 11
Right-click on the malfunctioning keyboard and select Update driver from the context menu.
Next, click on the Search automatically for drivers from the two options that appear here in the Update drivers window.
Windows will now scan for the best available driver on the system and install it.
    2. Disable fast startup

    Click on Power options.
Next, click on Choose what the power buttons do from the options listed on the left.
Now, untick the checkbox for Turn on fast startup (recommended), and click on Save changes at the bottom.

    1. Try to change Display Resolution to higher and lower.

Unplug and then plug in Keyboard and mouse.

Open Settings > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters > Click Run under Keyboard

    Update the related drivers.

You haven't mentioned which keyboard and mouse you are using.
There are ways to reset both of them depending upon the brand and model. You may go through user manual and look for resetting the devices.

Might try the problematic hardware on another pc. Also check the pc manufacturer's site for firmware, chipset and driver updates.
