"save address to authenticator" pop-up

I have just started getting an Authenticator pop-up on my Android (Galaxy S10E) that asks "Save address to Authenticator?"

I see it most often when I'm entering an event on my calendar, but it has popped up on other apps as well.

Most of the time there isn't even any address being entered, but even if there is, I don't need to have these addresses saved.

The pop-up is useless and is an annoyance. What is this and how do I turn it off?

I dont think Jimmysalian-2011 understood your question.

What i did to stop the annoying popup was go to the settings in Authenticator, scroll way down and find "Choose info to autofill". Then in there i changed the top option of "Addresses" to "autofill only". So it wont ask to store any new ones, but will ask if you want to autofill ones you already have.

Also, you can still manually add addresses to authenticator if you need to as well. It is along the bottom in main window where your codes are. Tab labeled "Addresses".

    Hi,

Did you upgrade or reinstalled MS Authenticator App on the phone? Is it definetely Microsoft Authenticator app and you can see your added accounts?

I will suggest you please check this article and if it helps - common-questions-about-the-microsoft-authenticator-app-12d283d1-bcef-4875-9ae5-ac360e2945dd

Also you need to secure the App on the Samsung devices due to recent events as per this article so it will add another layer of security on the App itself. -how-to-secure-samsung-account-with-two-step-verification
