I keep trying to close the sidebar in Edge by accessing the 3 dots, then "Settings", "Appearance", then disabling the "Show sidebar". However, as soon as I close the browser and open it again, the sidebar is there. How do I disable it?

    Hi BrunoMarangoniMinicheli-1003,

If you are unable to disable the feature via browser settings, I suggest configuring it via group policies. In case you are not familiar with group policies, please read this guide.
Then, you can disable the Show Hubs Sidebar policy following the GP path in the doc. After disabling this policy, the sidebar should never appear again.

Thank you ShiJieLi-MSFT, the provided solution worked for me. However, I had to dig a little deeper, found https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/configure-microsoft-edge and downloaded the Group Policy files, configured Edge to use it, and THEN I could edit that setting, because it's not installed by default.

Also, I leave this feedback to the dev team: please look into that setting for the next releases, it's very annoying to do all the work just to change one simple setting.
