BitLocker screen on a Windows 10 Home

This is more for reference than anything: Someone on the forum I moderate has a Windows 10 Home OS system from Dell and apparently has the BitLocker Screen showing after the KB5012170 update. Reference: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000202640/windows-update-kb5012170-may-ask-for-a-bitlocker-recovery-password

To my knowledge, Home version does not have BitLocker so how would a system with Home OS get the BitLocker screen? The user stated has already spoken to Microsoft and they confirmed it was Home edition so unless it was a one off, or the update affected the TPM/Secure Boot and triggered something that was not meant to be turned on? The obvious issue is that since it's a Home version, there is no record of the BitLocker key in Active Directory or Microsoft account.

Here is the forum thread in question for reference: https://forums.techguy.org/threads/bitlocker-triggered-on-dell-g3-15-by-bios.1282383/#post-9929489

Again, this is merely to see if anyone has any idea. I'm sure by the time someone figures it out the user has already factory reset it, but figured it would be nice to have something here.

Most likely this one caused it.

Sounds like you'll need to factory reset it or otherwise clean install it.

    Hello there,

Windows 10 Home doesn't include BitLocker. There is a know issue that sometime Pro may get activated a enterprise version and this one might be linked with the same factor

As the user might have reset the PC you have a quick check again at the version
