After double-clicking on the property, a pop-up box will open, then the user will enter the value, then the value will be set to the value of the property.

Some of the properties in the screenshot which you shared are complex properties, for example String[] properties, or for example the Color properties. There's no built-in property editor for Color or a for a String[] to show on a form. I have two questions:

Why you want to have a modal for those properties?

What's the expected UI for the editor form?

Sorry but it doesn't answer my questions.

I can imagine defining a class, for example GridSettings, and then having a property of that type like Public Property MyGridSettings as GridSettings, then it will show as an expandable property in the property grid. Why you want to show them in a modal. I'm not saying it's not possible, but have you ever seen a group of properties being edited in a modal editor, in a standard control?

As I mentioned there's no built-in control for choosing a color or editing an array of string. How do you want to let user choose a Color in a modal dialog, or how do you want to let user edit an array of string in a modal dialog? Show a screenshot or a drawing of the editor form that you want to show for editing those properties.
