Have you tried rebooting? SQL Server updates typically fail if there are pending reboots. Then again, that should fail the download.
Update fails with 0x80d02002

I am in the process of completing a fresh install of WSUS. This time I am using SQLServer for WSUS db and remote drive for content.
WSUS and SQLServer are Hyper-V server2012R2 Std.
The connection from WSUS to SQLServer is done. the contecn data base on host server is completed (\Hostsvr\LongNT\WSUS) date data is present.
I selected an update to be applied to a Win11 system and it shows up in available updates but it fails to download with 0x80d02002.
I suspect some permission, port, protocol is amiss.
ow do I properly configure for this architecture to download the update to the client system.

2022-08-25T07:33:43.953+00:00 Hi @John Lenz ,
This error 0x80d02002 may caused by corrupted Windows Update components, or incompatible software or drivers in the system.
Is your WSUS server setup correctly for Windows as a Service (WaaS)?
Second, are you approving the right updates that the computers are telling you they 'NEED'?
