You can back up and recover account credentials in the Authenticator app:

He's saying that when he tries to backup is account credentials in the Authenticator App that it's not working. It's not working for me either, I'm getting the same error screen.

I'm having the same problem, when I try to "Export Verified IDs" I'm presented with a 12 word recovery phase which I have to write down. I click next, I enter the recovery code correctly and complete the form. Then it advances to a screen that displays the following error message:

Error Details: Error: VCServices.IdentifierDatabaseError code: 4 Timestamp: 2023-02-20T02:30:28.527Z

I have saved the log file that it provides and a few of the messages are somewhat telling but I'm not sure if they are actionable to me. I can provide the log file to you but I won't post the complete log here because I'm not sure whether or not it contains any sensitive information at the moment (there's a lot.)

Upon further inspection this log file does appear to contain at least marginally sensitive information; ADBroker TeamIDs that I would personally not be comfortable sharing publicly. You might consider adding disclaimer about this log file so that people aren't posting marginally sensitive information on the internet. A web search of some of these warnings reveals someone else has posted a complete log file from this app:
