Azure backups

If We initiate Azure backups for a suse vm hosting Sap hana, understanding is

  1. The first vm backup will be a full backup
  2. Every subsequent vm backup will be a delta of the changes made on the disks. Hence from 2nd backup onwards the backup size will be smaller from the 1st backup

Is my understanding correct

Hi @Vishal Garg ,

basically you are right. A differential backup is smaller than the full backup.
But ... the size of a differential backup depends on the amount of data changed since the last full backup.
