Problems linking personal and Microsoft account for MCID

Question

I am having issues when setting up my MCID account for certifications. When I am logged in on my Microsoft account to link a personal account, the page just keeps refreshing and does not link anything. I have tried starting from a personal account, trying to link on my phone, and use an in-private window. I am signed in to both my Microsoft and personal account on edge, and am able to switch between the two. Every time I try to link the account the page just refreshes or does not give me the option to sign in to the account I want to link.
