We have 2 external domains, a.com and b.com. b.com has two child domains 1.b.com and 1.1.b.com. I created a trust between a.com and b.com, it is working. I am able to access the resources. I have created one more trust where I need build a trust between 1.1.b.com and a.com. But when I created I am not able to access the resources of 1.1.b using a.com account and I am getting an error that "connection is denied and you are not authorized to access this remote login".I have added the user in local administration group, but no luck. Can someone help me to solve this issue.

    Hi,

What type of Trust you have created and if it is a 2 way or one way Trust? Is it transitive trust?

In this scenario you will require Transitive trust and please review the article - concepts-forest-trust

Also review this article from our MVP and very good information here for the AD trusts - active-directory-trusts

    Hi ,

This error typically occurs when the user account that you are using to remotely connect to the target system doesn't have sufficient permissions. Can you add the user to the domain administrators group?

Please refer to this previous answer for help with creating a trust relationship between two domains:

    https://learn.microsoft. com/en-us/answers/questions/61615/setup-of-trust-relationship-between-2-domains.html

I hope this answers your question.
