We have a container instance that we use as a SFTP server.
This is the CPU chart, and as you can see, since yesterday there is no activity at all.
When I try to restart the container instance, this is what I get:

Sorry to hear that your container instance is down and restarting it is failing. Have you attempted to stop and start the container group instead? If you are still facing issues please let me know and we can work with you directly to resolve it.

Yes, I finally managed to get the constainer instance back up by stopping and starting the container group.
However, I need more help with this. I would like to receive an alert or something for when this happens. I'm not quite sure how can I setup am alert given the available metrics, because for the period of time this container was down, there was actually no value for any of the metrics.
Could you please help me?

Glad you were able to get your container online. I am not sure how you could create an alarm if no metrics are being returned. I recommend creating a new issue with the azure-monitor tag so our experts in that area can assist.
