DTMF tones not being recognised

Please i need your help on this
We have implemented a new phone system (8x8) with MS Teams integration; we have found that after implementation we cannot use the Teams keypad to navigate IVR or voicemail menus.
The tones are not recognized by the 8x8 system. The supplier is investigating but i wanted to know if there is anything we can do

Is this a suddenly occurred issue? I mean, DTMF had worked in the Teams for the user before?
If this is the case, do you have any idea if any changes have been made in your environment recently?
