How do I restore the files application to an earlier date.

About a week ago, I moved some files around, and I took some from all different places, like games from my user files or sum, images/vids from downloads, you get the idea. Doing that it kind of messed my PC up. Certain files don't get located properly by applications, internet is going funny (may be my internets problem not the PC's but I don't think it is), and I have X's on files. I would like to restore/set back the files application to an earlier date, to before this happened. I am on windows 10, please let me know if this is possible or if not anything I can do to fix these issues. Please and thank you.
I have ondrive and use it, that's where the x's are from (I think). And I dont think I have restore points set up.
If I uploaded my photos and videos to somewhere and restarted my c drive then downloaded everything again, do you think that would fix it? Or if I updated to windows 11?
Without knowing what you deleted/moved, there is no way that we could possibly answer that question.
That might resolve problems with Windows itself and some of the built-in apps, but depending on what you deleted, maybe not.
If it's a game, a simple uninstall/reinstall might fix that.
The Downloads folder is normally just a folder where files get saved by your browser. That should have no impact on anything. But then again, you might have used the Downloads folder in a way that it wasn't intended to be used.
You really need to be specific about what you did and what doesn't work now. Details are important.
If you read properly, you would see I have put detail, I have put stuff you've complained about, and I never mentioned deleting anything. Reading is important.
Well, if you didn't delete anything, that's good. Just move the files back to their original folders.
If you can't do that, or if your pc is still "messed up", then we would need more details in order to be able to help you. Something like this..
Do most apps still work? What is common among the apps that do not work? Did you do anything with files/folders in C:\Windows? Did you try the uninstall/reinstall? Did you check for errors in the application and system event logs?
It might also be helpful to understand what you were trying to accomplish by moving files "from all different places".
