I was trying to run some program on my Windows 10 laptop but some DLF files were missing to fix that issue I need to install Microsoft visuals c++, but the error shows that my window update window installer has some problems when I went to services to check that window installer war missing from that particular location what can I do to reinstall it I checked on the Microsoft website but Windows Installer available only for older OS, or those willl work for me as well.
Sorry I didnt find any suitable tags.

Reinstall the window with keep data files and apps
It will solve the windows installer
mainly it is due to installing the windows wrongly. It may also be due to virus but don't worry it will be solved using the above method
