I would like to ask one thing regarding the subject.
We would like to control PCs using Intune. In that case,
If a Windows10 PC is joined in AzureAD, we don't need to install intune portal on it ?
If there is difference between them, please let me know.

    Hi @Dheeman Das

It is essential that you push Company Portal when using intune. The Company Portal assists with managing your device/apps/compliance. The Company Portal is a great tool and helps with assigning devices to users and pushing apps to your users.

Can you remove a device from the Company Portal?

During removal, Company Portal unenrolls and unregisters the device from Intune. That device loses access to the Company Portal. Work and school data might also be removed.

Can you remove a device from the Microsoft Intune app?

No, there's no way for you to remove a corporate-owned device from the Microsoft Intune app.

The new "remote help" requires an add on license and the users install the remote help app (or you can push it out from Intune). See https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/remote-actions/remote-help

@Dheeman Das Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

To clarify this issue, what did you mean "intune portal"? Is it company portal app? If yes, please note that Azure AD join and company portal are different things.

Azure AD join means that the device is joined to Azure AD. It doesn't mean that the device is enrolled to intune. However, if Auto Enrollment is enabled, the device is automatically enrolled in Intune.

For enroll windows devices to intune, only BYOD enrollment needs to install company portal app.
