Hola,

Si actualmente tengo documentos en Microsoft Word y utilizo fuentes de Monotype, posteriormente convierto ése documento a PDF y lo publico en mi sitio web... ¿Tiene alguna inplicación de licenciamiento?

Gracias.

Hello,

If I currently have documents in Microsoft Word and use Monotype fonts, I later convert that document to PDF and post it on my website... Do you have any licensing implications?

Thanks.

    Hi @Jose Buitrago

Using the font for personal use is ok as defined in monotype's agreement. Technically speaking, I don't think it is legal to use it in a business document without extended agreements.

However, you could use the contact form at the bottom of https://www.monotype.com/legal/terms-use to contact them about usage rights.

There is no legal problem with using fonts as you describe. Monotype will not allow you to resell the font as if it is yours. Using it in a public document is not a problem.
