We have a 'Microsoft 365 Business Standard' account with a couple of users. In the control panel, I have an 'Azure' admin section. We're considering upgrading some machines to Windows Pro, because we would like to be able to use our business accounts to login to the PC's and maybe even manage some things remotely.

My question is: what does my 'Azure' admin panel give me under the current 'Microsoft 365 Business Standard' account? I see there are different levels of Azure, but which one do I have and will it allow me do login to a Windows 11 Pro machine using my Office 365 account?

Hi @Guido Goluke , yes, Azure AD is included. This thread goes into detail about the differences between the different Microsoft 365 plans.

"Yes, it includes Azure AD, for Microsoft 365 for Business provides Office 365 Business account which belongs to Azure AD identity. It’s mainly for user identities management, in the meantime provides other features. Level described under Office 365 App column in Azure AD pricing page."

For tier and price comparisons please review this page.

Azure AD offers different licensing tiers as detailed here.

For steps on how you can login to Windows 11 Pro, please see this thread.

Now to summarize and hopefully answer your question in full, your current plan allows you to login to Windows 11 Pro using your Office 365 account. The current plan also includes the Azure AD free license as well as Office 365. However, you may need to upgrade your Azure AD license if you need access to certain features, such as advanced group management and other security features.

Please let me know if you have any questions and I can help you further.
