Over the past week my computer has been experiencing BSOD errors during periods of high activity/multi-tasking. This takes place primarily during periods where I am playing video games that have higher requirements of my system. Looking at previous posts with similar issues, I downloaded BlueSreenView and identified the exact nature of the BSOD. The cause has been listed in all but one of the crashes as being caused by NTOSKRNL.EXE and, once, by PSHED.DLL.

I saw many posts stating this could be a driver issue, so I went ahead and reinstalled my OS and the problem is still happening with a fresh install with no changed drivers. I also made sure that there is no overclocking on either my GPU or CPU.

I welcome any help that anyone can provide on this issue. I would at least like to narrow down whether it is a hardware issue or not.

    Hi

The computer has a hardware failure by bug check code: 0x00000124.

This bug check is typically related to physical hardware failures. It can be heat related, defective hardware, memory or even a processor that is beginning to fail or has failed. If over-clocking has been enabled, try disabling it. Confirm that any cooling systems such as fans are functional. Run system diagnostics to confirm that the system memory is not defective.

    Best Regards,
    Wesley Li

Hello Skid Flashys how are you? I ended up finding your topic because I'm going through the same problem as you regarding the blue screen. You commented that you would buy a new motherboard and see if the problem persisted correct? Can you let me know if this resolved your issue? I've tried all the formatting solutions, installing everything again, but whenever I play or use Photoshop, the PC shows the blue screen. If you can answer me if your problem was solved by changing the motherboard or another solution I would be very grateful!
