I've had a heck of time trying to install Micosoft SQL Server 2019 Standard. I am installing it on VMWARE Environment running ESXI 6.7 (latest revision). I assigned it 4 CPUS (2 Socket 2 cores). 32gb RAM. Upon installing the first thing I ran into was a problem with installer erroring out. In the logs I saw "Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. " Upon investigation, I found KB4530084 which states that installing MS Sql 2019 CU 1 would fix the problem. So I did and I was able to get the server installed. However now I am seeing AzureAttestService is not starting. The service is set to automatic, but it will not start. When I try to start it myself but I get an error stating "Windows could not start the AzureAttestService service on Local Computer. Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion."
Has anyone seen this issue? Anyone know how to get this service started?

2022-09-01T15:12:17.44+00:00 It is really strange. I used the same ISOs and installed it in another Hyper V lab environment. And an ESXI 7.0 environment. And I see no issues. Everything installs correctly and AzureAttestService starts up right away. It only seems to be happening on ESXI 6.7 with Windows 2019 Server and SQL 2019. Just so strange.
