Office（ボリュームライセンス）の旧端末から新端末への乗せ換えについて

Officeをボリュームライセンスで購入しているお客様からの質問です。お手数ですが回答いただけますとありがたく存じます。

【質問内容】
使用機器（パソコン）の更新時期に際して、全体の機器を更新せず一部継続利用しようと考えられております。
Officeをボリュームライセンスで購入しており、継続使用する端末をリカバリかけて、別用途で使用されようとしておりますが、
ボリュームライセンスの性質上、継続利用できるという認識であっておりますでしょうか。
（具体的な質問内容）
現行オフィスソフトを使用する際は、現行のKMSサーバを残すか安いサーバに移し替えるかすればいいのでしょうか？
　　●新規購入端末→新しいオフィスソフトの購入（新しいKMSサーバ）
　　●継続端末（リカバリ実施）→現行のオフィスソフトの流用（現行のKMSサーバ）
