Virtual network gateway client doesn't install on Windows 11 ARM

Hi
My customer bought a new MAC pc. He installed Parallels and Windows 11 ARM version due to the restriction imposed by the new kind of MAC processors.
He needs to access on an AZURE Virtual network gateway trough VPN client with the Windows OS but i can not install the client downloaded from azure portal because in Windows ARM OS there is not some system file like csmtp.exe. How can i setup the VPN without the installer or how to use the vpn client installer on that kind of windows OS?
The VPN is a Generation 1 SKU Basic VPN

I have followed up with the team internally regarding this issue. Meanwhile can you please try below mentioned workaround and see if that helps.

Can you do a manual configuration for your VPN Client by following this documentation, https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/vpn-gateway/point-to-site-vpn-client-configuration-azure-cert

Then Install Azure VPN Client (supports OpenVPN only) from this link https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/azure-vpn-client-preview/9np355qt2sqb?activetab=pivot:overviewtab

I have the same issue as original poster reported. I tried to configure the Azure VPN Client as suggested. I am using Certificate authentication. However I get the following error when trying to connect. "Server did not respond properly to VPN Control Packets. Session State: TLS handshake in progress". Is there any updated guidance to get a P2S connection working on windows 11 ARM?

I also have the same issue. We use Azure basic VPN for a few servers and Windows 11 ARM support should be added. I've been working with Azure support on some workaroudns but so far, nothing really works. When setup manually, you can get connected to one network, however while online with it, you lose access to the rest of the internet. I'm running windows 11 through Parallels on a Mac Studio - it's a great dev platform but this one VPN issue is still lingering. Is there any update on adding this support from MS?

I am also facing the same error.
My configuration is a Mac m2 processor. using Windows in parallel desktop.
