Server Connection Instability

Hi

We have 4 computers at work which connect to our local server to access our inventory data using inventory software.

All computers function fine until this one computer logs in and causes the other computers responsiveness to stall for 10-20 seconds every now and then. When they log out of the software it is fine for all other users.

The computer is always on the same network but only causes issues when it logs in to this software. We can't work it out. It's like this one computer is causing network instability when using the software.

I have done a 24 hour ping to server, router and external IP's, but still occured with no loss of connections.

    Few things could be tried:

Use a different Ethernet cable between your router and your computer.

Get closer to the Wi-Fi hotspot.

    Update network drivers.

Make sure firewall/ internet security thing is not interfering.

You may discuss the issue with your ISP provider.
