Azure API Management Data retention and cost

Hi,

I would like to know what change we can we make in APIM to increase data retention and what is the cost associated with. As per the link https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/434727/api-usage-data-retention-in-azure-apim.html the APIM analytics data is stored at Microsoft side for the particular APIM instance indefinitely. Is there a way we can use the same and what is the costing of the same. We need to do a comparison with respect to using Azure Data Lake before we decide on going for Data Lake

@suvra jyoti Thanks for reaching out. You will be charged for the APIM instance depending on your APIM instance SKU. For more details you can check the APIM pricing. Your reporting data will be stored on your APIM instance indefinitely so you are only charged for the APIM instance. As these are the management calls (management.azure.com) so it will have the same limit and throttling as documented here.
