Hello, I am Rubiat.

I am currently working at a vendor company. One of our customer has been facing an issue for 5-6 months. Even before I posted this issue in technet but they didn't provide me a proper solution. They just told to re-register app, download the app from Microsoft store, check the policy etc. The actual problem is that, when customer deploy a fresh OS which could be Windows 10 or 11 anything. After OS deployment, the local user can use the calculator app easily but when they joined the computer to their domain, the domain user couldn't be able to open calculator app. They aren't facing any error, they just click calculator but it will not open. After some analysis, I found that when I login as a local user, I can open it and i found calculator app on my installed app location. But when I join as a domain user, I can't open it and do not found calculator app on my installed app location. How is it possible? Some pc are also not found any calculator icon. Please anyone suggest me how to solve it permanently? If it is an OS related issue then please provide me the actual cause. Around 200-300 pc faces this issue. Thank you.

N.B: It can resolved by download the calculator app from Microsoft Store but I need the root cause and also I can't provide it to them because this solution needs internet and they aren't provide internet to their all users.

    Hello @Rubiat Rafi

Thank you for your heads up.

I fully understand how frustrating this experience can be but I would like to provide some info for you to get this going as it should be intended so please see below:

    • Have you tried to reset it from app settings as shown below?

    • This is a similar procedure as shown above previously:

    • Did you check for any license difference between computers ?

Finally, I was thinking of this article very useful as well https://github.com/Microsoft/calculator.

I hope that can be useful for this case scenario.

    Looking forward to your feedback,

    Cheers,
