Ampere Altra Arm Virtual Machines support for Azure Batch and Databricks services

Looks like Azure Virtual Machines with Ampere Altra Arm–based processors will be generally available from September 1, 2022.

I'm interested to know if these VMs will be supported to be used with Azure Batch and Databricks services.

    I understand you are wanting to know if Azure Batch and Databricks will support the new Ampere Altra Arm–based virtual machines.

    Unfortunately, I am unable to share if/when these VM types will be available for those services. A list of currently supported VMs can be found here for Azure Batch and here for Databricks.

    I will send your feature requests to our product team. I also recommend posting your requests on our feedback website. This allows the community to add their voice and upvote popular ideas. The forums are monitored and responded to by our product teams.
