Looks like Azure Virtual Machines with Ampere Altra Arm–based processors will be generally available from September 1, 2022.

I'm interested to know if these VMs will be supported to be used with Azure Batch and Databricks services.

I understand you are wanting to know if Azure Batch and Databricks will support the new Ampere Altra Arm–based virtual machines.

Unfortunately, I am unable to share if/when these VM types will be available for those services. A list of currently supported VMs can be found here for Azure Batch and here for Databricks.
