How to separate access to SharePoint Team Site and Miscrosoft Teams-connnected sites?

Question

Our scenario in SharePoint 2016 is that , I want all staff in the organization to have access the HR Teams SharePoint site. Can I grant all staff access at the SharePoint Site but they won't have access to our Team Site and Microsoft Teams-connected sites? I want to limit access to HR Team site to only HR members, however, there would be documents that all staff might need to access from our SharePoint site.

Hi @Leung1975 ,
According to your description, you can give HR Team permission at the site level, and then for the documents you want everyone to be able to view, break permission inheritance, add all employees to a group, and then give this group permission to access the documents (e.g. give this group read permission).
