Azure AD B2C User Flows - Self Service Password Reset errors with "A user with the specified credential could not be found.'

I have a Sign In user flow set up that works fine with usernames as the identity. It is set up to use the self service password reset flow. My issue is that when a user selects "Forgot Password?" and then verifies via email, nothing will work in the user ID box. The same username will work to sign in normally, but will always error with "A user with the specified credential could not be found." when trying to reset the password. I have tried using their email or a fully qualified version of their username with @<tenant>.onmicrosoft.com but the input does not allow special characters, leading me to believe it should be their username that is used.

Hi @Jake Andrews , This issue may be because the user's email is not from your tenant. You said you added the tenant email to their username, but how does it appear in the portal? Please review this thread for details. Does the user have a work or school email?

The user must first sign up to register for your tenant.

Please let me know if the above helps.

    Thank you,
