Hi Team,
We have a customer who has migrated fromSharePoint 2013 (on opremise) to SharePoint 2016 installed in Cloud VM

SharePoint 2013 - was tied ADFS authentication
SharePoint 2016 - is tied with Azure AD authentication whichwhen logged in takes to their ADFS login page and once logged in they can access to SharePoint 2016

However, when they logged in they are not able to see their existing item in my views, Its considering as different user.
Is it possible to link/associate existing users through sharepoint

Thanks
Athulya

    1. Could you please make me know the two account agree? If a completely different account is used after the migration, the domain may have changed. For example, if you change from DomainA\User1 to DomainB\User1, you will be recognized as a different account.
Ans: when it was with SP2013, account used was ADFS eg: ******@organizationname.com
not after migration(content DB), to SP2016, account used for authenctiation is Azure AD where users are synced through AD connect. here the account is ******@organizationname.com
    2. Could you please tell me did the users migrate together during the migration?
Ans: Permissions are migrated with details
    3. What was the account before and what is it now?
      ADFS- ******@organizationname.com
      Azure AD- ******@organizationname.com
