Dear experts,

We are trying to install Fonts for our users running Win 11 system. In past the normal steps are
Non-admin user logged into the system and copy the font .ttf files into C:\Windows\Fonts folder, then open Word to display the new fonts on the list.

However, this works for Office 2016 and Office 365.
When we used Office 2019 the installed fonts not showing on the list. We have to take further steps to manually install the fonts via %localappdata%\Microsoft\windows\Fonts, double click to install it or right-click to install it for all users.

My questions are:
Any bugs or flaws for Office 2019 to dipslay fonts normally?
Can we automate the extra font installation for all users?

We need to install a number of Chinese fonts for all the users.
Thanks a lot!

    Hi @Eaven HUANG ,
Did the Office 2019 using the same bit version with Office 2016 and Office 365? 32-bit or 64-bit?
Did you use custom font or the standard font?
I suggest you try to run Word 2019 as an administrator and check the result.

If anything is unclear with the previous information I've provided to you, please don't hesitate to let me know. I am glad to be of assistance.

    Hello there,

Are the fonts not showing only on Word or on all office apps like PowerPoint also?

Based on your description the Office fonts for Office 2019 were displayed normally in Windows 10 but not in Windows 11. If this is the issue on a single PC try to uninstall and reinstall the Office and check for the issue. If this behavior is with all PC then you can report this to Microsoft with feedback hub .

As far as it goes their no known issue for the office as you have stated.
