It’s just a general question.

In what scenario would a user be asked to enter their password again on their phone when their password has not changed or is not locked?

I’m not trying to troubleshoot a particular user, I’m just trying to understand why a user would be prompted in the first place.

This happens frequently.

Can anyone help me with this?

1. What is the email client/App, that you are using?
2. Is it a personal email account or work account?
3. How frequently do you get the popup to enter credentials?
4. Supporting screenshots to help us understand the pop-up message should also help get more context on this issue.

Since it's a work account, that would be mitigated by the policy your IT admin/group configured in Intune I would think. You would need to reach out to your IT administrator.

Where did this scenario occur? On Outlook or native mail？
