Database replication on Local Systems for TBs of data

Hi I need my data to be transferred from one database to another in real-time. The condition is that everything needs to be on-premise, so much so that the on-premise system won't be connected to the internet.

Does Microsoft Azure fulfill this requirement?

    Hello @Mayank Gupta ,

Welcome to the MS Q&A platform.

Could you please help me understand your requirement? You have Azure DBs(ex: Azure SQL), and you wanted to transfer data from one database to another Azure database. You wanted to know whether the data transfer can possible without the internet.

If this is your requirement, I don't think it's possible without connecting to the internet.

But if you want to move data from on-prem to Azure without connecting to the internet, you can leverage 'Azure Data Box'.

Data Box devices easily move data to Azure when busy networks aren’t an option. Move large amounts of data to Azure when you're limited by time, network availability, or costs, using common copy tools such as Robocopy. All data is AES-encrypted, and the devices are wiped clean after upload, in accordance with NIST Special Publication 800-88 revision 1 standards.

You can find more details here: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/services/databox/

Please let me know if you have any further questions.
