I have an windows form executable application that was written and compiled in an old version of VB that generates an error message when it executes the first time, " A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." I press OK on the message and it disappears. I then execute the same file again and it works. I believe that the program was written for windows 7 machines. It worked for several years even running under windows 10 but in the last 6 months, it started getting the error message. I did not create the program and do not know what .net version it is using. It do know that it uses SQL database functions.
