Hi,

I have downloaded some apps like games from Microsoft Store in Windows 10/ 11 for user account.

Please let me know, can I use lock for those apps?

If it can be done without using third-party software, please let me know.

If it can be done with third-party software, let me know which software can be used?

With Regards

Press windows+R and type ‘gpedit.msc’ and hit enter. This will open up the Group Policy Editor.
Go to ‘User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System’.
Double click ‘Don’t run specified Windows applications’.
Select ‘Enabled’ and click on ‘Show’.
Add the names of applications you want to block. You have to enter the names of the exe files.
    Click on ‘Apply’.
    Click on ‘Apply’.

You may also try third party applications:

    Smart-X AppLocker

    GiliSoft EXE Lock

    Folder Guard

    My Lockbox software

    App Locker
