Dear experts,

I'm trying to deploy a few new software for our end users but running into following issues, take PotPlayer for example:

  1. I manually tested on one PC with /S switch for silent install and it did work, when I created an app and add PotPlayerMini64.exe /S, it didn't work at Software Center
  2. I used PotPlayer uninstall exe by using "%ProgramFiles%\DAUM\PotPlayer\uninstall.exe", it did uninstall the app but showed error at Software Center with error 0x87D00325(-2016410843).
  3. I googled around and got "The software package uninstalled successfully but a software detection rule was still found". I then used a .bat file to include the uninstall exe and add one line with timeout /t 30 or timeout /t 300. This worked for Wechat silent uninstall but it didn't work for PotPlayer or even another app called MeituXiuxiu. It would just prompt "The software could not be found on any servers at this time" when I used the .bat option.

Any idea?

    Hi, @Eaven HUANG

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

    1. Test on PC with /s switch is under user context, but deploy with SCCM is under system context.
    2. For the uninstall issue, we may try to specify the path in "Uninstall start in", and run uninstall.exe in "Uninstall program".
