Why is my external camera not showing in the Teams meeting recording?

Connecting 2 PTZ cameras through ATEM switcher, out as USB webcam. No problem seeing the camera images in the meeting, but upon viewing the recording of same meeting, there is only the account icon where the camera image should be. Sound is recorded normally. Using laptop's built-in camera does appear in the recording. Tried on different accounts/pc and seems consistent.

    Thank you very much for your reply and follow-up.
    Yes, the attendees could see the camera images in the meeting. Which is why it was very surprising to not see them in the recording.
    By "Teams on the web", do you mean using browser rather than app? If so, we don't use that method.
