Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese, custom mapping on CI

Hi Team

As known, there's a mapping function in the "unify" function in CI. Just want to clarify, if there're 2 records which 1 in traditional Chinese and 1 in simplified Chinese of the same words, can the mapping function map among these 2 words?
