    Hi Bojan,

Lots of pros and cons with this, Security is very critical so make sure you have protocols in place to secure the files however there are ways to do this via IP address access and local accounts etc If you do not want or cannot create a trust relationship it will be a task to configure everything.

Have a read at this thread - how-can-an-unauthenticated-user-access-a-windows-share

    Hello there,

I would suggest you to create a true Kerberos trust between forests, also called a "cross-forest trust."

Building a cross-forest trust permits a trust to be established between the root domain of two forests, and any child domain in either forest can have access to resources in the other forest without an explicit trust.

Configure the Availability service for cross-forest topologies in Exchange Server https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/architecture/client-access/availability-service-for-cross-forest-topologies?view=exchserver-2019

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions please let me know and I will be glad to help you out.
