Administer WSUS service on a W2K19 core server.

Question

Hi everyone!

I installed and configured the WSUS service on a W2K19 core server. How can I administer the service remotely? Is there a console for MMC.exe or an administrative tool to install or just over the Web?

Hi @Doria ,

You can open the administration console from an Internet browser on any server or computer on your network by browsing to:
http://WSUSServerName[:portnumber]/WSUSAdmin.

For accessing the WSUS Administration’s console remotely, you can install the RSAT tools on any server/ä or client, as mentioned here:
WSUS on Server Core

Agree with LeonLaude.

We could install the RSAT tool(Windows Server Updates Services Tools) in a Windows 10 computer to connect to the WSUS remotely. Please refer to the below picture to install this tool:

Then we could open this WSUS tool and connect to the WSUS Server as the below picture:

Does this GUI tool is available for Windows 2019 Server too? Or only to Windows 10?

Also, where can I find some article about WSUS PS cmdlets and wsusutil.exe too, please.
