Hello,

Please i need your help on this issue.

Can you please provide access to a Teams meeting recording that was placed into the temporary data store. The user no longer has access to the Teams meeting chat link.

The meeting was recorded on the 25/08/2022 at 10:30 to 13:00.

The issue was caused because when the Teams Meeting was recorded the user that started the recording did not have access to OneDrive therefore the recording was stored in the temporary data store.

The user went back to the meeting chat after the meeting was recorded but the link to the recording was not in the meeting chat. The user therefore has no way to access to the recording which as far as I can tell should still be in the temporary data store for some time. The chat message was not deleted due to chat message retention policies.

At this point none of our users have access to use OneDrive which we have done on purpose we are in the process of looking at enabling both OneDrive and SharePoint for staff.

Is it possible to get a copy of the Teams meeting recording that should still be in the Microsoft temporary data store.

If it is not possible to access that now that the Teams Meeting chat link is no longer accessible please can someone let me know

    Hi @IBN

Is it possible to get a copy of the Teams meeting recording that should still be in the Microsoft temporary data store.

Is the recording page the same as the image below? If the recording is successful, you can get a copy of the Teams meeting recording that should still be in the Microsoft temporary data store.

Meeting recordings stored in AMS are available for 21 days before being automatically deleted. Users can download the video from AMS if they need to keep a copy.

If a Teams meeting recording fails to successfully upload to OneDrive/SharePoint, the recording will instead be temporarily saved to Azure Media Services (AMS). Once stored in AMS, no retry

attempts are made to automatically upload the recording to OneDrive/SharePoint or Stream. For more details about meeting recordings, you could refer to this article.
