Could you please let us know below mentioned points: Are you using CLI commands or portal to create My SQL server. Please check if your create server operation is not interrupted by drop server operation. If your previous drop server operation failed with error like "The operation on the resource could not be completed because it was interrupted by another operation on the same resource.", then create server operation might fail. Please try to recreate server if you faced scenario as mentioned above. And please share more details if you are facing error due to some other reason. Hope this will help. Thanks for looking into the issue but it still persists. I have tried different Azure accounts and seems when creating the database server with terraform this error appears intermittently. Latest one is below

To get to the bottom of this I tried to create it manually and this is what I get.

Why would you not allow a subscription to create resources in a specific region??? I have seen multiple issues reported in this forum related to database server creation failing with 'An unexpected error occured while processing the request', at least I would expect Azure APIs or CLIs to give a relevant error message.

There is something seriously wrong with the database services you are providing and as a consumer thats the only thing I can understand by 'an unexpected error occured'.

Please could you use the tracking ID from the last error message I got and scan the logs internal to Azure that is hidden from us and suggest how to resolve this issue?

Also to answer the second question, we are not dropping while creating (it does not make sense for anyone to do that). It would be far more easier for you to scan the logs agains the tracking ID given to see if there is any drop operation performed at all. But if you look at the error I get when creating manually, its certainly something else and internal to Azure

Its impacting our business in a great way.

We do not have the support plan hence please suggest what else can be done.

Also the support plan comes for a cost, I doubt consumers should pay for a support service particularly to make something work which should always be guaranteed to work in the first place.
