I am seeing requests to my azurewebsites.net with a ClientAgent of bitdiscovery. The IP address is from San Diego/Nevada, depending on the lookup. Is this Azure-related activity?
Bitdiscovery user agent probably relates to a web crawler associated with the Tenable Attack Surface Management service
Thank you for your reply here @Rafael da Rocha . I am still unclear if that is an Azure service and if not, how it got my address which I have never promoted/shared.
webcrawlers run the whole internet, doesn't matter if the address is promoted or not. With time, you'll probably see crawlers from Shodan.io and other security services that scan all Internet hosts gathering information.
I don't think Tenable has any association with Microsoft.
