Hi Tech Team We are getting this error for 3 of our users , it does not matter which computer they try login on the domain, they all have the same error message during the login phase all fixes online point to registry changes to be done on the local machine, however, this is not going to help as it happens on all machines. We suspect a problem on the users AD accounts but not sure where to look. It's just 3 users and nothing has changed for them in active directory OS: Windows server 2019 Datacenter Your assistance would be greatly appreciated ![238193-microsoftteams-image-1.png][1] [1]: /api/attachments/238193-microsoftteams-image-1.png?platform=QnA Best Regards

    Hi,

As you mentioned the registry fix didnt work, can you try the option 6 as it starts the service and resets the winsock. Worth a try and also do you have any user GPO's that are applied?

I will suggest you to review User GPO and unlink or move the users to a test OU where there is no GPOs assigned.

    Hello

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having issues related to Group Policy.

It can be due to issue started from an improper shutdown and especially during the windows update. I would recommend you to run the command sfc /scannow from elevated command prompt. This will check the file system and repair if needed. Make sure that your installation media is also ready (if asked to be inserted)

Also ,Run below DISM commands from elevated prompt.

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

I had this issue with one of the computers today. What happened? Everything in the user's profile folder was gone, except the appdata folder. I find it amusing how windows may randomly sign in users with temporary profiles, and then it doesn't when the profile is completely broken, like in my example. I digress. The fix was removing the leftover profile folder and related registry keys.
