Hello,

I use outlook 2013 for my work email, and I have limited access to email settings because of the way our email service is set up. I have set my work email to forward to my private gmail account. Is there a way to respond to emails through my gmail account so that it looks like I'm responding from my work account instead? I would like to keep my personal email private from clients, but need to reply remotely from time to time.

Thanks!

    Hi @dr_hembross ,

Is there a way to respond to emails through my gmail account so that it looks like I'm responding from my work account instead?

In the point of Outlook, that's indeed impossible as michev said, and for account itself, we just could change the display name but couldn't change or hide your email address in the sender line, due to this is your uniquely identifies.

Besides, I also have tried to consider from Gmail and did lots of research, and found we could add another address in our Gmail settings (All Settings>Accounts and Import>Add another email address>type your account) and could choose from it when you send the message. I have added my Outlook .com address for my Gmail account and it could work normally like below. As a workaround, please try to configure your Gmail account via settings above if your account could be added successfully there.
