Our Windows 10 Clients receive Windows Updates from our on-premise WSUS Server. Lately all clients are stating they are not not up to date yet WSUS states all clients all 100%. No updates have been approved recently so I don't understand why the clients are stating 'You're not up to date' If you select Check for updates it comes back and says 'You're not up to date' Group policy is applied and I've performed gpresult to prove the policy is applied. I've also spent many hours trying different scenarios, including the deletion of the softwaredistribution folder to no avail.

I'm totally stumped now so seeking if anyone has come across this bizarre situation.

    The simplistic answer is:

You don't have the required "Products" and "Classifications" checked in your WSUS server.

From WSUS's point of view - you have everything installed.

From Microsoft's point of view - you're missing updates because WSUS doesn't know of the product that requires the update.

You should be revisiting the Products and classifications list at least once a quarter, adding and removing products that are now in or removed from your environment.
