Paging healthcare

Hello,

I work for Haymarket Center as a System Engineer.
We are a health clinic and want to transition to Microsoft Teams for the physical desk phone feature.
We have a mandatory paging system to broadcast throughout the building in case of emergency.
Is it possible to have the physical teams phone and integrate it with our paging system via preset extension?

I have done a few of these deployments that have a paging system. Depending on the system you have a few options, But in all cases their is no way to use Teams directly on the paging system. What i have done in the past is, if the device users SIP registration we have used 2Talk for example and registered the device to it with a DDI. And only allowed calls from defined numbers. Then with in Teams we would create a dial plan entry that would then translate the current use EXT and translate that to the new DDI.

You Could also use a ATA that is connected to the Paging system.

In Short it is possible with use of a 3rd party application\device.
