Hi All,

on link web

https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-365-blog/microsoft-365-apps-enhancement-for-configuration-manager-adrs/ba-p/2361279

In the case of the "Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel", between "Feature Update", "Quality Update" and "Extended Quality Update", it is not clear to me which is the most stable and least problematic "Release Type".

With the configuration of our ADR, we have always released updates with the filter of the title "%Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel%2108%" , so as to drive the desired and supported version of office.

Looking at this article we were lucky, to date, to have always released the "Quality Update", despite the article indicates that the new titles would start from June 2021.

We had never considered the "Release Type", but we started to consider it when in July 2022, with the same filter, our ADR began to download and distribute the "Extended Quality Update". (We noticed this in time, and therefore suspended releases pending a better understanding of the matter).

We have already implemented, for many years, inner rings that contain Computers / Pilot Users.

Every month, we would like to make sure that we release the most stable and hassle-less hassle "Release Type" for the Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel.

-Why on the second Tuesday of the month, apparently from July 2022, only the "Extended Quality Update" is released?

Of the three, which is the most stable and least problematic "Release Type"?

Thank you all for the advice and support.

    Hi, @Vid3al
In general, channels with low update frequency are more stable, extended quality updates are newly launched update channels, and there is uncertainty.
We recommend that you still use the Quality Update channel.

I expect "Extended Quality Update" to be more secure and stable than "Quality Update". so isn't it ? is the "Quality Update" safer and more stable?

We have decided that for the Channel we use, for now the "Quality Update" are a fair compromise.
Thank you all for your suggestions and support.
