Billing API doesn't work

Hi,
I’m trying to get any costing and billing data from the Azure REST API, but I cannot get it working.
For example, when I try to get my Billing Account with the GET request:

I’m getting the error message:
"error": {
"code": "400",
"message": "The request could not be understood. Parameter BillingAccountId: 9971ccb0-02bb-45e2-bd6a-9e340372dcba is in a format that could not be processed with this version (Request ID: 9279f97b-a547-4a6e-854e-bde0bc5f683c)"
}

Can anyone help me with this?

Also - The billing account format does not look correct. Example billing acct ID: 7c05a543-80ff-571e-9f98-1063b3b53cf2:99ad03ad-2d1b-4889-a452-090ad407d25f_2019-05-31

Assuming that this is a modern billing account, the ID should be more than just a simple GUID. The instructions below should assist to grabbing the correct billing account identifier.

To retrieve a modern Billing account ID from the Azure portal:

In the Azure portal, navigate to Cost Management + Billing.

Select your Billing account

Under Settings in the menu, select Properties in the sidebar.

On the General tab, copy the ID.

I too got the same error, tried every possible parameters and other cost usage details API with every API versions

@ROHIT SINGH The call by Billing Account Balances - Get By Billing Account - REST API (Azure Consumption) | Microsoft Learn gives current month data only.

To get data for other billing periods, please use this API Balances - Get For Billing Period By Billing Account - REST API (Azure Consumption) | Microsoft Learn
