Windows 10 2004 Mapping issues

Question

I am having network mapping issues on computers using Windows 10 2004. Our server is using small business 2003 and 2008. The network mappings have the red x and will not connect. The mapping works fine with windows 10 1909. Is there a fix for this problem?

I'd check the domain controller and problem members all have the static ip address of DC listed for DNS and no others such as router or public DNS.

Will the connection reconnect if you double click on the drive?

If not, what is the error message when you cannot reconnect the drive? Please post the detailed error message for us to do further troubleshooting.
